After recently finding Body Shop no longer supplies their Henna Powder I was feeling really scared I would have to go grey disgracefully!  Thanks very much for showing me an even better alternative.

I've already used your product, fantastic!! I bought two packs because I have fairly long thick hair, but I only had to use one. My hair is now a beautiful shade of mahogany, so shiny and healthy looking.

It's been so long since i've put any colour on my hair because I became allergic to all kinds of hair colouants. I decided to look for something natural and it's so much nicer than anything I've used in the past.

colouring products, as I am extremely allergic to
other hair dyes and chemicals in general and was
becoming resigned to having grey hair. The colouring
looks totally natural,unlike other dyes and does not
damage the condition of my hair. It has made a huge

I can say that I have been pleased with the service I have had so far. I have only ordered the hair colours so far which have arrived very promptly. The product certainly 'does what it say on the tin'!!! It took a couple of attempts to get the right colour as it is always difficult to judge from charts. In fact I will be getting some more now and will take advantage of the same delivery charge regardless of the size of order. Perhaps you should make that more of a selling point?

Most impressed with your service, the website is well designed and easy to use, the speed of delivery is good.

The products are great, I am using special hair products due to chemotherapy at the moment and feel that it is helpnig to keep my hair in reasonable condition.

I use eco products as much as possible as I feel strongly about the high level of toxins in body and cosmetic products with the resulting effect on the liver, and also the effect on the environment. It is good to see companies as yours who are taking a real step forward into helping the planet and its people.

I ordered some natural hairdye from the Surya range and was delighted with the results. Previously, I was getting worried about using conventional hairdyes because of the chemicals and the dangers of cancer.

I didn't think the Surya dye would be as effective as conventional dyes and at first, I also thought it was more expensive. However, the natural dye was great, leaving my hair looking and feeling really good. It also lasted almost as long as a permanent dye and didn't fade as quickly as expected. I only used half a bottle and unlike conventional dyes, was able to keep it for a second application after about 6 weeks.

So it didn't work out any more expensive..Ordering from your website was quick and easy and delivery was also quick and effecient. Postage is high if only ordering one product but as my confidence with the company grows, I will order more in one go, thus effectively reducing postage costs. I'm so pleased I've found an alternative solution for my greying hair!

I am loving the Surya Henna Creme Hair Color in Chocolate! It was very easy to apply and rinse out. It covered my gray and has given me shiny, conditioned beautiful hair. The color chart on the box was the EXACT result I achieved. I am also enjoying using the ColorFix leave in conditioner and Restorative Serum for split ends. The Leave in provides me with a lot of moisture and manageability and the Restorative Serum keeps my natural afro curly hair from becoming frizzy + poufy. The combination of these 2 products keeps my curls defined, moisturized and bouncy. i am very happy to share my experience and impressions on the natural surya cream hair colour. i have to admit, i was just ever so slightly sceptical on how a semi-permanent colour could guarantee grey coverage - but - to my complete surprise and amasement - surya colour does exactly what it claims to be doing!! 1. it is ready mixed and easy to use (very important, take it from me - i did not do well with other brands henna powder...); 2. quick application, clear instructions; 3. it does indeed cover grey!!! 4. furthermore, it achieved such a natural blending effect with both my natural colour and my previously treated coloured areas; 5. i do not have a problem with the colour being washed off in time, as with the monthly high growth rate of my hair,coupled with the totally natural ingredients of this product - i am happy to colour my parting in the front of the face twice a month; 6. also, another very important aspect of this product is that it actually lasts for more applications - even on my shoulder leghth hair; 7. the texture and the feel of my hair after applying the surya colour was unbeleivable - but i did purchase the same brand herbal shampoo and conditioner... 8. i feel that i am not only colouring my hair, but at the same time treating it at the same time from years of damage from chemical colouring products. kind regards and thank you for such a lovely product,

My experience so far is good. I have been losing lots of hair after childbirth and am therefore very careful about normal hair dyes. I wouldn't use them at this stage of my life as my hormones are still a bit unbalanced and I have recovered completely the hair I have lost. Because of grey hairs, I did not want to stop dying my hair altogether and Surya has allowed me to do it.
The only problem is that every time I wash my hair, the dye will be everywhere on the towel, but that's an expected downside of a natural non permanent hair dye so I have learned to live with it (have special towels for it). I am happy as it hasn't increased hair loss and am not damaging my already fragile hair growth/recovery. Overall I would recommend it. Grey coverage is good, although not outstanding but then again for the same reason I was expecting it.

I purchased surya henna hair colour in dark brown, I have to say I was quite impressed as the colour lasts much longer than I had expected, although its quite messy to apply (aint all hair colourants!) and the developing time is longer than a normal colourant, I found it to be safe enough.
I experienced no allergic reactions, I would very happily use it again, I have not been able to colour my hair properly for a few years because I have reactions to normal colourants, I am happy that i now have a product that I can use regularily that is not a scary price !!!!

Here is my feedback. Thank you for asking.
I was fed up with salon permanent dyes that faded and made my hair feel like straw. I was also worried about the potential health hazards from dyes. I have dyed my hair since I went grey in my twenties, which is now 20 years ago. I researched for an alternative on the internet and found the Surya Henna products. I liked the idea that my hair condition might actually be better with your products.
I used the colour fixation shampoo and conditioner for a couple of washes first. They are fabulous products, which instantly improved the appearance and feel of my hair and left my scalp feeling less itchy (I have had dandruff all my life).
Today I used the Surya powder in golden brown on my already dyed (but faded) light brown hair. OK, so I should have tested a lock of hair first but I was too impatient. As a result I am a bit orange (but my husband says he likes it and doesn't want me to pick another colour next time!) I applied it for 30 minutes only. The most impressive thing is the shine and condition that my hair has. It is full and bouncy and the slightly eccentric colour actually looks vibrant. It is quite certain that it will be noticed at work tomorrow.
I might try ash brown next time - or maybe I will go mad and try the golden brown again. I will wait and see how it fades through the washes.

I have used it once a couple of weeks ago & thought it was excellent…..
I have never used Henna before, so wasn't sure what to expect & although my hair felt strange & dry, straight after using it, it does have a lovely sheen now & it's a fantastic colour.

I found the Surya products I have tried just brilliant for my hair; I have found it return to being smooth and shiny immediately that I used them.
I had been trying various different herbal colours, shampoos & conditioners for a couple of years and my hair had got into progressively poorer condition; so I am very relieved to have found the Surya products! It is great to get the benefits of henna without turning red!

My order has arrived safe and sound and I am extremely pleased with the hair colours. Unfortunately due to an allergy to conventional hair dyes, I have been unable to hide my grey hair for the past 14 years, which has been devastating!! Previous attempts at ordering natural/organic dyes have been unsuccessful, I didn't get on with the powder types. So I was extremely pleased to come across your website, and I am happy to say that the dye has surpassed my expectations, giving back a natural shine to my hair.
